WELCOME

For over a decade Ben has looked to the world beyond his experience
and sought to engage with it. He is especially drawn down paths lesser
trod, where the chances of encountering an intact ecosystem or culture
are greatest.  In his writing, photography, filmmaking and speaking,
Ben aims to transcend common conceptions (and misconceptions)
and supply re-constructions of people and place that pay respect to
their inherent complexity.

Use this website to access information and products relating to Ben's
past journeys, and keep up to date with future endeavours.  The site is
also being developed as a resource towards the preservation of
wilderness, the promotion of ecologically sustainable modes of travel,
and better understanding of our planet's rich cultural diversity. Watch for
links to some exciting enterprises.
